Episode 1 'How it all began...'

I didn't want to ramble on too much with this introduction sort of thing, but basically I have finally got a Blog going so I can write down what goes on in this strange head of mine. It's almost surreal to begin with but I do love to write (damn it I have that essay to do for wednesday) and I also had the idea of beginning each entry with what I remember from my dream the night before... I usually forget and sometimes my dreams can be awesome.

Well I already need to crack on with the MAIN FIRST ENTRY because this is just a trial one to test the water (I'm going to be really cool and have proper titles and everything). So this is Tommy Grainger saying hello to all and I hope you enjoy this Blog.

As I gorge through a packet of Maria biscuits alongside an ill-timed mug of coffee (it's after 18:00) I consider my options. Having a mental list of things is no good, due to the inevitable subconscious winds of change that blow priorities right out of the other side of your head. I need a physical list. Something that I can pin to my laptop or wardrobe door to remind me of the outrageous number of tasks, jobs, projects, ideas and adventures I try to juggle all at the same time. I say outrageous; perhaps others deem it healthy? Healthy to keep busy and follow such keen interests and hobbies?     I cannot deny this, of course. Episode 108 'A coleção de Lisboa'

The exhibition 'evening event' has now come and gone, leaving me in a state of utter exhaustion both physically and mentally. But what a success! I was very happy with the turn out of wonderful folk who braved the bad weather to attend, and I even sold some postcards packs! The art work will remain upon the walls of the Little Yoga Space  for the foreseeable future, so hopefully they will generate some more interest amongst the yoga classes and workshops.  There is an upcoming art market at the Selina Secret Garden hostel in Lisbon and the CCC (Curious Creative Club) have decided to take part. I am hoping to stay involved with these events, not just to sell my work as a side hustle (I've always enjoyed that expression hehe) but to meet more artists and possibly collaborate on bigger projects. Episode 113 'My Wet Hot Portuguese Summer'

It has been a long summer, but one that seems to have passed in the blink of an eye. Many things have happened, but I also feel like I have absolutely nothing to blog about. An age has past since the Annecy festival, and I sit here contemplating my 2024 thus far in regards to my life and career. But unfortunately, at the moment my writing currently goes hand in hand with my emotions (an interesting transition from the days of old, where my frivolously upbeat writing about how I built a pirate ship that one time , also seems so long ago) and I find it hard to focus on just the artwork.     Perhaps my sensitive side is getting the better of me. But I do actually have an explanation for this (I think) and it coincides with one of the many personal projects I have begun, now that I am utterly free of everything.
