Episode 74 'Duck and Swan'

I have managed to do something rather foolish in the past fortnight. Upon one of my cycling adventures I unfortunately, perhaps due to a lapse in concentration, lost control and ended up crumpled on the tarmac before me. Now, I do get distracted on a monumental level, but I managed to instinctively focus enough to land on my left arm. Alas, it is now fractured and it took me a good twenty minutes to write this bloody paragraph!   So I don't really have an awful lot to report. I haven't been able to work and have been advised to keep my [left] arm in this sling for another two weeks at least... and to avoid using it at all for a further month. This is very frustrating.   Throughout my boredom I have managed to watch some movies that I'd not yet seen; including Tangled, Wayne's World 2, After Earth (meh), the Alan Partridge [Alpha Papa] film, Disney's Sleeping Beauty and Mary Poppins (I know, I'm a bad man for not seeing these!), World War Z, Office Space...

Order 66 'Animating Princethorpe College'

Phew! I always knew that August and September would be incredibly busy months for me, but this is outrageous! I have been actually turning down projects to pursue studio experience and the like. But regardless of the bigger picture, I still think projects like a music video can be far-fetched (with the exception of 55 BPM When the Transient Happens ) simply because of my limited home studio. Nonetheless, I am forever grateful, and flattered, that people have asked if I wanted to front an animated campaign. In fact, my good friend David Ward asked if I could animate a short 'fitness' clip to help promote the social media side of a leisure centre. I think I might get Barney involved with that one, he's been doing sod all for months... Finding a free day to actually animate is the problem at the moment as I usually have to catch up with paper work, finish sculpting, illustrating and also rearranging my Star Wars figurines (I'm totally joking)...(but not really)....

Episode 43 'The Imperial March'

For the love of my Jesus Action Figure, I have been neglecting you. It has indeed been over a month since my last update, resulting in this outburst. I could perhaps present this post in my characteristically rambling manner but I might erode the keyboard. Therefore, I have decided to upstage the writing and give you a show and tell publication. Here is the month of March shown to you in the visually simple medium of pictures: March 1st  Wall Paint became official traders. March 2nd Designs for my good friend Peter Kitson concerning his idea for an animated show called 'The adventures of Baron Womb and friends'. March 3rd Wall Paint's first client for the Leamington Spa area. Simple but effective.  March 6th Drawing practice: the real reason why I worked at the go kart track for all those years. March 9th I became the proud owner of a Hasbro Star Wars toy stash from the 70's. Only I may touch them. March 10th A design put together on Photo...
